Works great for my extreme puller!

Excellent training collar! I bought this for my 70 pound 1 year old Ridgeback. I had to buy a few more links but they fit him. He is an extreme puller! I used to have a larger version of this collar and it still pulled pretty bad. He rarely pulls with this collar unless he does it for a short time (or that much). The smaller version isn't as flashy as the larger version, which is good for point-collar haters. I'm definitely glad I bought him, he's finally well behaved on walks! A minus point to the reduced version. Release pinch is a nice feature. BUT, it can fall apart by itself. With a large collar I didn't have this problem. It's a little difficult to match with the tiny links on the small collar. After plugging it in, I shake it to make sure it's ok. If I forget this there is a 50% chance it will come off during the walk, usually immediately. I only use this collar for walking. I attach the leash to his regular collar when he plays with another dog so it doesn't come loose during play (which has happened) and get caught in other dogs' teeth/collars. If your dog is a dangerous escape route, I've walked him with a second leash attached to his regular collar in case the spiked collar pops out. You can also buy a large collar or a collar without a halter. But the larger version may not work if you have an extreme puller. A normal collar is quite difficult to remove. But this is safe and best for your dog. Much luck!
