No obvious on/off switch. It is also difficult to fix the device after pairing. I tried setting up my son's headphones on my device and making sure they worked, then plugging them into his new iPod. Almost impossible. To do this, I had to turn off Bluetooth on my phone. I like that it shows when charging is complete. I have a different style of these headphones for my eldest son and after being unconnected for a period of time they turn off automatically, this pair does not. They will stay until they die. Comfort is great too, volume is just right for kids and although the color choice could have been better for boys, these are cute little headphones. (Oh my son is 2 and they fit him well, they slide off his head a bit. But he's a boy too and we all know boys don't sit still! Ha)
