I bought this for a 10 hour road trip (5 hours one way, all in a day). He was 15 months old, but very very strict sleep schedule in his bed with sound machine etc.This did the job to have the noise for him to doze off. Thank goodness it has bluetooth and you can use it as a speaker to play from your phone, because the 3 preset sounds (ocean, rain and louder rain) are not noises he is used to. I wish they had put just a regular white noise sound on it.The device itself is very baby friendly though. Front part is soft and the little ears, hands and feet are great for teething on. Also has a clip that is very useful.
