As with most IPS panels, the picture quality at 1080p is really excellent for the price and LG makes sure it works properly. Colors are vibrant and the 144Hz refresh rate is a game changer compared to other 60Hz monitors. Unfortunately, as others have pointed out, these monitors can vary significantly from panel to panel. The one I received had a dead pixel in the center of the screen that quickly turned into 2 within a week which was disappointing. As you'd expect, there's a fair amount of IPS glow in the lower-left and upper-right corners, but I found this to only be noticeable in particularly dark screen scenes. Good price but beware of dead pixels!
