Review on Taotuo Portable Monitor Extender 13 3 16 Notebook 13.3" by Steve Fischer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Suitable for occasional disassembly and transport. Good screen quality.

Given the weight of this model, perhaps Taotuo should have switched to a 4K alternative to stand out from the crowd. I would have a hard time convincing my younger wife to take this with her, although she prefers a more fully mobile setup from the two of us. PRO screen quality and size (for a dual screen portable Tbolt), Full HD Kit includes the necessary cables (many alternatives don't have them) - USB-C and HDMICON - A bit heavy but not unbearable - Screen hinge and buckles appear to be are not intended for reuse. If I was still a weekend warrior lugging this from the hotel to the office every day, I don't think it would last. - No USB ports (signal or power) or 3.5mm audio (did I miss it?) NEUTRAL - It took a bit of fiddling to figure out the stand. No problem if you remember the mechanics between applications. I think this model, which has the advantage of being a bit larger than some of the others on the market, is best used in environments where disassembly and transport will occur from time to time. At least until some of those usability issues are resolved.
