I just LOVE this frame! It's well made and worth every penny. It's perfect for my unique embroideries. Reading other reviews before purchasing, there was some confusion about the size of the field of view in the frame. The oval viewing area is 7 x 9 as written. The frame itself is larger. Some of the reviews I read said the viewport was 8x10, but that's not the case. This is incredibly important and I hope this review clears things up. The gold paint on the frame is peeling off a bit, but I wiped it off with a damp paper towel. The glass in the frame also needs to be cleaned. There was a spot of glue on the front of the glass (when the glass was glued into the frame) but this is easy to remove with nail polish remover (on the glass, NOT on the painted part of the frame. Don't do that). Use nail polish remover on the painted part of the frame as this will damage the finish). Despite these small, simple fixes, I will be buying this frame again for future work I create.
