Review on πŸ›οΈ Twin Tan Berkshire VelvetLoft Polyester Blankets by Sasha Kupchin

Incredibly soft comforter - doesn't roll or pill, soft as velvet

Incredibly soft comforters - now I have three of them! They have a velvety soft touch - no pilling or peeling - but they MUST be machine washed in cold water on the gentle cycle and dried without heat (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT). It makes you want to rub your face against this fabric and snuggle up. My kids were fighting over who got those blankets. I love two Berkshire Blanket SeraSofts that I've had for two years, so I wanted to try these newer VelvetLofts - they're even softer with a shorter pile. The blanket is labeled "Berkshire Blanket VelvetLoft Hospitality," which is why it's sold to the hospitality industry. Unlike the regular VelvetLoft blanket (available at www.berkshireblanket.com), this blanket does not have a satin border but is hemmed all around. Machine washed in cold water on gentle cycle (as label recommends) and tumble dried on air fluff (NO HEAT) for 60 minutes. It was still damp so I dried it on low heat for about 30 minutes. This time the quilt came out perfect, no shedding BUT I found it shed when I dried it on low heat for about an hour after another wash. Therefore, I recommend NO HEATER (same is recommended by the manufacturer at www.berkshireblanket.com). Excellent quality. Medium weight with a sheen like velvet. On a cold winter night you might need two of these blankets.
