Review on 🧼 Collonil Clean & Care 200ml - Hygienic Cleaning Foam Suitable for All Material Types by Jessica Lewis

I read the reviews and was sure I would try this product to get some old Repetto Flats back in tip top shape. Revain sent it in a Bubble letter box and the lid was taken off and some of the product was wasted in the packaging. The people at Revain will have to choose safer packaging methods going forward - the tin rolled freely in the mailbox and had no other protection. I applied a small amount to the fabric and noticed that it felt tacky. after the product has been rubbed in. I tried cleaning the leather soles of the flats and it didn't help - it just darkened the skin and made things worse. The only positive was that it didn't damage the upper of the shoe - I just had to wipe the sticky surface with a clean cloth. I also tried cleaning leather shoe inserts and couldn't tell a difference. The interior looked just as worn/dirty and I'm pretty sure the product has started to wear off the branding. For the price I paid, this is invalid. I feel like it's better to take a saddle soap or other product and try to clean the dirty spots of the shoe with it.
