Just received in the mail. I tried them out and walked the dog. The bottom is very hard, there is no cushion so I have to buy some insoles, they are very hard but I hope this will go away with time. I don't walk much just occasionally and usually only about 4 miles at a time so I'm hoping to use them more than a few times before they fall apart as other reviews are suggesting. They look very good and I will test them this weekend and see how they work. I think you get what you pay for and if you want shoes to last you would probably be better off staying away from them and investing in expensive shoes. :) Also, I'm usually a size 7.5-8 and I have a wide foot, and I'm an 8 and they are a bit big, but I can only guess that a 7 would be too small. Update: I walked 2 miles in these soleless boots and my feet hurt a lot towards the end and after. They are definitely waterproof, I've been through a lot of streams. There was mud where I hiked and they held up well. They don't look like they're going to fall apart yet. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the looks! I find a good shoe for the price!
