When we opened the box, a strong smell hit us. It smelled like Home Depot's plywood department. It was immediately clear to us that the van would have to spend some time in the garage with petrol. Directions were missing; However, assembly was quite intuitive and took less than 20 minutes. The feature we (theoretically) appreciate the most is the ability to adjust the speed of the wheels based on our child's walking phase. Unfortunately, it's a little hard to tell if an adjustment really makes a difference. I feel like our 9 month old needs to walk a little slower than I can adjust. However, this could be user error, so I don't want to penalize the product review.
