Review on Derrison Boston Shaker Set Professional by Darion Wooten

Very nice set with nice finishes

The main element of this shaker set is of course two interlocking stainless steel glasses which are used to prepare the cocktail and then shake it. So those two parts are excellent. Stainless steel is smooth and unblemished, of excellent quality, and thick enough not to be easily dented or deformed. The outer surface is polished to a high gloss. In use, the two pieces fit snugly and don't leak, so tight that it's sometimes difficult to separate them after shaking them, as I believe the ice will shrink them a bit. and tighten the landing. The larger one has a copper bottom which adds weight to make it less prone to tipping over and the finish on this part is also spot on. In practice, the diameter of the top of this half of the set is only slightly larger than the spring size of my OXO Hawthorne screen, so it's a little loose, but not enough to render it inoperable. I received this as part of the Revain Vine program so didn't look at the product page, just the Vine brief description. When I received it I was looking at the product page which has two photos of some bar accessories which might lead me to believe that the word 'set' in the description means these items are included. Know that it is not so. A "set" consists only of two interconnected toggle switches. I have to say very good glasses. If you prefer this style of shaker to the single tall glass type with a lid and spout then this is a great choice. It works well, pairs well and makes you look good at the bar.
