I've wanted a basic tablet for my 3 year old son for a long time and when I saw that it was intended for children I decided to buy it. The case perfectly protects the tablet in case of a fall. (Because we all know 3 year olds drop things) The tablet comes pre-loaded with 20 different games suitable for different ages. The Looney Tunes Phonics game is one of them and is a great way to learn the letters and sounds they make. My son is about the right age to learn letters and sounds so we've used it a few times and will continue to do so. A few apps he personally enjoys playing are ABC World, Game Kids 5, and Body Parts for Kids. (Everything is preinstalled on the tablet). Another great feature of this tablet is parental controls. To be honest I had to unlock a few things when I first got the tablet because so many things were locked. The Kids Corner app is the place where you can put all the apps you want your child to use. This app is password protected so you can only exit it if you enter the password. So don't worry about your kid doing other things on the tablet that you shouldn't use. You can also set a timer for how long you want your child to stay on the tablet. The operating system is fine, it runs on Android 8, it's not the fastest thing in the world so you need patience to load some things. and the touch screen can be finicky at times, but it can play games well. Not sure if mine is bad or not, but the charging cable and connector are loose so I'm not sure how long the charger will last. The tablet can also get a bit warm at times, but overall it's a good base tablet. Updated 11/1/19: I changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars due to the excellent customer service I received for the loose charger. (which actually broke after my first check). I emailed Contixo and told them what happened to my charger and they sent me a new one for free!
