Quality control not there

I don't typically write reviews but you need to know that this robe is not sewn with high standards.PRO: the fabric is still fairly soft and lightweight which is why I bought it in the first place. The lavender is very pretty shade. So it definitely does what I need it to do.CONS: Biggest problem, my front pockets are at least 10 inches difference. My right pocket is fine but the left pocket is so low that I cannot reach my hand in it without bending over. Also where the shoulder meets the sleeve on one side is about an inch off of the other side so one shoulder is awkward. One of my arm holes when I put my arms straight out starts lower on my ribs and feels smaller on my arm than the other but this could be related to the strange shoulder staring point. It has not kept it's shape after washing as the pockets bulge out. I first washed and then hung to dry but the pockets looked all stretched out even though I have never put anything in the pockets even my hands (can't reach haha). The next time I washed it I dried it in a low temp drier to improve the pocket shape but they look exactly the same. It was kind of expensive for these flaws.OVERALL: If you need a lightweight robe this will do it for you. But if you are finicky about the sewing or the way they pockets look, you might be taking a risk. I like the robe and will keep it and maybe remove the lower pocket and resew it back on where it is supposed to be.

Pros
  • Perfect weight for year round. Good weight for modesty.
Cons
  • The robe attracts lint and hair easily
