I cut off some fingers recently. I became aware of self-adhesive tape because it only sticks to itself. This is good for tight bandages, in my case as a compression bandage to correct the shape of the fingers. The compression also helps ease the phantom limb pain from my knotted nerves. But since it doesn't stick to anything else, it tends to slip off my fingers when I use them a lot, like on my bike while holding the handlebars and brake lever. It works well, pretty much everything I've used. It has a little more texture than other tapes. I use new wraps every night, it's good to have some rolls.
