I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my kids to give to their dad and it was the perfect choice! He totally loves it! My husband is one of those guys who accidentally breaks things because he didn't take 30 seconds to read the instructions first, so I'm happy to say that (1) none of the parts got under his stubborn fingers is broken and (2) he may have put the phone in the holder without breaking anything. Hooray! Since I installed this (of course) I went for the vent, so here's my review: FEATURES: This is the only car phone mount I've seen that not only pivots but also pops out. has 2 "legs" for extra support (can be installed on the windshield but I was only interested in installing the deflector). Another thing that caught my attention is how this company stands behind their product. If you've been looking for a car phone mount, you've noticed that there are a million options to choose from, but almost none of them come with any sort of warranty, let alone the 3-year warranty that you get with this mount. I was impressed. I was concerned that the vent clip wouldn't fit our car, but no need to worry - unless you hand-do the car vents, it should fit any vent easily. The grips that hold the phone in place are also very soft and secure. QUALITY: Everything feels solid and well put together, nothing is flimsy and nothing feels like it could break easily. When you have a person pushing/jamming/breaking parts, rather than just looking at a chart of where things are going, it's important that the parts hold up. The little feet and buttons hold the "print" well - nothing cracked, chipped, or broken on my husband's hand. EASY INSTALLATION: Almost everything is pre-assembled, so installation is very easy and there are no small parts. inappropriate. The manual explains everything in detail but is quick to read and more importantly easy to follow and understand. Installation only took about 3 minutes. So easy! (And if I let my husband do it on his own he would probably be able to do it in about 10 minutes) EASY TO USE: All my husband needs to know is to press the button that releases/holds his phone owned by this brand , but this holder had everything I was looking for (except name recognition). Normally I would choose a brand I had heard of before but the more I read the description and other customer reviews the more I knew I should buy these and I am so glad I did. Not only should they be recognized for a great product, they should also be commended for their services. I got so used to fake customer service from my phone provider, computer provider, etc. that when they wanted to know what my buying experience was, it took me a while to accept that this company was actually legit. I couldn't have dreamed of an easier and more enjoyable buying experience and will definitely shop with them again.
