I have 2 cats who scratch my new sofas and carpet. I have used them on the armrests of my sofa and also on the back corner of the sofa. I also cut pieces and glued them to the carpet where the cats were scratching. Problem solved! They were very easy to use if you weren't looking carefully, they weren't obvious, and they worked! I'm very happy with it!
