WARNING: FAKE/URGENT PRODUCT

*Long post but PLEASE READ or at least check before purchasing. gradually worsens and spreads over the entire face. When the breakouts didn't respond to acne treatment, I suspected it was some kind of dermatitis and visited a dermatologist who confirmed I had perioral dermatitis (around the mouth). I took antibiotics and used multiple topical treatments from February through June of this year. NOTHING WENT, and in fact it got so bad my whole face was covered in red, itchy bumps. Eventually, the dermatologist added rosacea to my diagnosis — I even went so far as to get a blood test because I thought there was something seriously wrong with me. I was very frustrated and felt completely helpless because by February my skin was FULLY clear. I realized that these breakouts started THE DAY AFTER I started using this product. I even called Dermalogica support and they confirmed that the "lot code" on this product is unverifiable. I IMMEDIATELY stopped using this product and the rash on my face started to go away within a few days (after 5 months of suffering) and my face was completely back to normal within a month which tells me the product in this bottle either was not real or expired. I watch a lot of skin care products on YouTube and am familiar with skin care products for the average consumer and have heard not to buy skin care products from Revain due to the risk of counterfeit or expired products being sold. I have no idea what was in the bottle I bought and unfortunately there is no easy way to find out, but if I ever buy from Dermalogica again it will be from their own website or from an authorized reseller - owned by Dermalogica NOT Revane. Dermalogica is a great brand and has nothing to do with them as a company, but their products can be expensive. I have used Dermalogica Precleanse (from the Dermalogica website) in the past and liked it so much that I decided to buy it again and did so from Revain because it was cheaper. I know Revain's slightly lower price point is tempting, but if you're looking to save money on skincare, do yourself a favor and check out other fantastic low-budget skincare brands instead of buying from Revain. Sephora sells two well-known budget brands, and some of the drugstore brands are great. My skin cleared IMMEDIATELY after I stopped using the product. Don't risk a purchase.
