This was my cat Tyson's first car ride. I can tell he wasn't happy with the confinement, but he loved the comfort. I let him play with him a lot and lay around him to get comfortable before the trip. The soft carpeting on the bottom of the bag was a great role for Tyson. The bag's mesh extension gave Tyson extra range of motion. When we arrived at our destination, we used the bag as his little room. He was very happy about that. If you have a medium sized cat, this is good for him. With the extension, he has enough space to romp and sleep.
