It took a bit of effort to put this case on my controller but once put on it fits well and increases the grip and comfort of holding the controller. The Options button is a bit harder to press due to the increased thickness. As a result, joystick pads were not used - when installed, they rest against the edge of the controller cover, limiting the range of motion of joysticks (even thinner pads), hampering gameplay. The pads could work fine on their own (without the controller cover), but since I really only wanted the main cover, the pads were just a pointless "bonus".
