Reviewed September 23, 2020 for a Regular Fit Van Heusen Classic Striped Flex Collar Shirt. I liked the fabric and the pattern. The body of the shirt and the sleeves fit perfectly. The neck was too tight, uncomfortable and seemed minimally flexible. We have shirts from another brand that have a really flexible neck as they have a hidden elastic tongue on the neck, covered with the same fabric as the shirt, conveniently adjustable and not visible when worn with a tie. Recommend Van Heusen to add this feature to their slouchy shirts. The shirt was tried on briefly and returned unwashed, so I can't comment on how the fabric will look after washing or drying in terms of creasing and ironing. There are non-detachable collar stays at the ends of the collar which appear flexible and may be made of plastic which can warp when ironed. I prefer shirts with collar vents so you can remove them before washing or ironing and replace them with plastic or metal collars after ironing if needed.
