If you are looking for a decent hoodie for your kid, this is a very good choice. I have this in lilac and mine is a faint pink hue, but it definitely falls into the lilac category. (A fair warning that when purchasing other products from this company the colors of each garment may vary. I have another top from this company in lilac and there is a significant difference as it is much darker.) My niece does not have it yet Done old enough to fit in but compared to other clothing items it seems to fit the definition of a size 8. I washed it cold inside out on a gentle cycle, and then tumble dry on low and all turned out fine. I recommend this hoodie if you're just looking for something simple but well-made and without a big logo.
