These glasses are of high quality. They are durable and have a sleek black finish that looks great. For my seed storage purposes they work perfectly. However, I was disappointed to see that each tin was not only well packaged in a box (with little room to move around during transit), but also wrapped in a separate plastic bag similar to cellophane. . I suspect this was done to protect the finish during shipping, but I'd rather see a more compostable protective barrier like thin tissue paper, recycled sealing paper, or no additional packaging at all.
