The ball came loose after about an hour. My granddaughter kept putting the ball in the little hole and then applying Gorilla Glue to it. Your application of glue didn't make me change my mind about sending it back (even with the glue on it). I decided to keep her because she was having a good time playing alone. Decided to fix it myself. The glue didn't work because she didn't give it enough time to dry, and maybe it did. Here's what you can do when you buy this item. I cut off about a 1/2 inch tip from a yard spike (probably a misnomer, but it's iron and thin enough to go through the hole) and tied it to the end of the plastic holding the ball in place and should hold position. Place it in the hole where it is now on the side of the hole and then I applied Gorilla Glue into the hole to secure it. So far, so good. I'd love to take photos so you can see what I'm talking about, but didn't know I would verify. I hope this helps and I think it helps if you decide to buy it and keep it. If it breaks (and it will), I think you'll understand my decision.
