I was scared to death it would burst and hit the stove the first time I tried it because the glass is very fragile but somehow this one holds up fragile vessel of warmth stood . I love that I can brew tea in a pot right on the stove instead of screwing up the kettle. The handle is cool to the touch and the lid is made of high quality stainless steel. I really love this jug and would definitely recommend it.
