I've had an e-book for ten years. It's just as good as the newer e-readers on the market, except it doesn't have a backlight. Recently I was hesitant to surf the web to buy a new lighted e-reader, but regretted the idea of wasting money and adding garbage to the world by throwing out a perfectly working e-reader and replacing it with a new one. . Luckily I came across this LED reading light which has many benefits and features including build quality which feels solid rather than cheap; it is adjustable and flexible; It features brightness control and a built-in rechargeable battery that charges via USB. This device not only works well with my e-reader but also satisfies my needs as a graduate student when I need to read late at night or when traveling and need light to read my textbooks when there is no light or low light . Illumination is distributed evenly across the screen or sides, adding just enough light to make reading in the dark easier. I'm glad I looked at this device over other similar devices because not only did I save money by not buying a new e-reader. for the backlight, but I save money because I don't have to constantly buy new batteries or worry about not having a new battery on hand when the battery dies. I just have to plug it in to charge it. Fully charged in 30 minutes. A good buy!
