5 stars would be perfect but the foam mats are curved so they don't lay flat. And in places they looked dirty, like they weren't new. The pins require a bit of work to get into the holes (which is a good thing considering they are needed for fine motor development). Apparently they have multiple uses. My daughter loves to fold them on her fingers. The price couldn't have been better, I was lucky enough to get them on a bargain and the kids had quite a bit of fun with them! You get 3 pieces of styrofoam (most of them only come with 1) so there was no struggle to turn it around which this mom appreciated! I also appreciate the bag it comes in, it's easy to clean AND we can take it in the car!
