Black and wooden teak slat
The black paint on the metal will chip but that will happen with any painted or regular slat. Otherwise it's really smooth, and one of the wooden supports was warped and looked like it couldn't be repaired, so I just twisted it some more until I got the straightness I wanted. Despite these issues, it's perfect for the money and very durable.
