First let me say that I think this is a great monitor in terms of picture quality and the ergonomic stand is a real game changer in terms of desk space and screen positioning. However, I definitely decided to make this purchase after seeing a video from LG showing how much you can move this thing around on the ergonomic stand. Attention * in the video everything moves WITHOUT a cable connected to the monitor. I've been moving mine around like an idiot during normal use while the cables are connected and the USB-C connector port has been destroyed by the cables' torque. You can try to prevent this by leaving plenty of slack, but if the cables get caught on the ergonomic frame, they can easily break out, even with rudimentary movements. - So now I have a great monitor with a broken USB-C connection that broke after just 2 days of normal use and I rely on other connections very carefully. I think with that kind of movement, LG really should come up with a bolt-on wiring harness that doesn't allow the base movement to destroy the flimsy plastic entry ports. - VERY DISAPPOINTED. Almost $700 for what is now just an HDMI monitor with a bad connection port. I recommend the monitor itself, but be very careful when using the ergonomic stand.
