Review on Outdoor Research Pocket Pewter Medium Outdoor Recreation by Dan Sturm

I love the hat. It is made of excellent material. However, due to the lack of any kind of reference guide on how the sizing works, I ordered according to reviews and Q&A. I usually wear a size 7 and a 1/4 cap. I ordered a medium and my entire arm fits between my head and hat. I removed the tags when I received it today out of excitement and not sure if I can resize it to a smaller size or not. Please note that the answers to the questions regarding the actual size chart for these hats are not correct at all. Small probably corresponds to a true 7-1/4 hat.
