Retinol can give really great results, but it can also be terribly irritating to the skin! My husband has had mixed results with strong retinol products despite not having sensitive skin at all. He was very excited to try this as he hoped it would be less irritating than regular retinol. (which it certainly is!) My husband has been using this product for a few weeks now and has noticed some results. Nothing superfluous, but the result is definitely there. The eye area is brighter, crow's feet at the corners of the eyes and wrinkles between the eyebrows are slightly reduced and the skin looks healthier overall. I asked him if he thought the price justified the results he'd been getting over the past few weeks and he definitely said yes. The cream initially feels quite thick and greasy, so it's fitting that it's labeled as a night product. I couldn't imagine using this during the day. A little goes a long way so you don't have to swallow a ton or you'll be a greasy mess! (as my husband did when he first put it on! LOL) Not a great scent that would be good for people who hate scents or have sensitive skin. The odor you can smell is very faint and maybe a little medicinal. Don't despair. Most importantly, my husband didn't experience the blisters or redness that can accompany traditional retinol. It had no negative side effects - no burning, peeling or redness. He is definitely excited about this product and is excited to see if his results will improve with continued use. There's still plenty left in the tube, proving that you really don't need to use a ton to get results. Good product!
