A decent tablet but you have to pay extra for mediocre accessories

I've only had a tablet for a day so I can't comment on the reliability or battery life. As a tablet it works well, fast and with a very good display. I launched Mad Max: Fury Road to try it out and got carried away watching it all because it looks so good on this tablet, although the speakers are as weak as most tablets I've used. It's a bit heavy, but it has a 6000mAh battery, so it makes sense. But. My review and rating is based on the entire kit they sell and you pay for. This includes accessories that are not so good. They're definitely an afterthought to justify the price as they're not integrated at all. The mouse requires you to connect the wireless keychain with an OTG cable that plugs into a USB-C port and dangles from the side. You cannot charge your tablet at the same time unless you buy another splitter adapter. Oh, and my OTG cable was bad so the mouse didn't work. I had to buy another cable for the night as the tablet had to be taken with me when traveling and not wait for a replacement from the seller. Bad quality control. The keyboard isn't integrated either, there's no place for it in the tablet's casing, and it also has its own separate micro-USB charging port (no USB-C), so another cable is needed for that. At least it's Bluetooth, so you don't need a keychain to connect (why wasn't the mouse Bluetooth too?). And finally the case itself. It's a cheap vinyl which doesn't matter that much but the worst part is that the edges are sharp which makes it very uncomfortable to hold. Couldn't you make a bag for the damn keyboard too? An added bonus since the headphone jack is in the same location as the power and volume buttons. When you fold the tablet up to stay in the case as shown in the pictures, it covers the socket (and buttons). Oh yeah, you also get a stylus that doesn't have a place in the case either, so you'll probably be leaving. All in all, they should sell this tablet for a few tens of dollars less and let you buy your own accessories. As a kit, I don't think it's worth the price. Too bad because the tablet itself is quite good but I have to check the full kit I received.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • It was damaged
