That's great.

OK. Let's get rid of the bad first; This thing doesn't exude much quality. It's quite cheesy to be honest; Turntable is very cheap. However, I think they fixed the CD player issue; The drive actually seemed pretty well made (it's better than most PC drives). Bluetooth works well but can be finicky. You don't want a bunch of people connecting to it, or it'll never play (if you want that, get one of JBL's new Bluetooth speakers with Party mode). However, I've been using it in the home office for the past week and it's absolutely the perfect companion to get through the day. The thing also just looks cool. I have no idea why they included CD ripping software, but hey, if you were cryofrozen in 1998 and just thawed, get on with ripping some CDs! Oh yeah, a note on sound quality. It's not a party machine. Again, JBL, Klipsch, Sonos, etc. make very loud Bluetooth speakers. It's the perfect device to wind down on a rainy day or just to get through a day at work (I usually listen to a radio show on the FM tuner in the morning and switch to Bluetooth in the afternoon). However, the sound quality is better than you would expect at this price point. All in all a very, very good item and I hope it will last for many years to come!

Pros
  • ALL THE CONTROLS YOU NEED - volume and FM tuner controls, input select button (functions) and a full set of CD player buttons. The screen is lit with a blue LED, the buttons are nice to the touch and the overall look is 1950's style
Cons
  • Damaged
