I bought 2 of these for a dual channel desktop. I don't have stats on their speeds, but it basically seems like you won't notice the hundreds of MHz of bandwidth you're wasting unless you're running memory-intensive workloads. They don't have a heat spreader. So if you're experiencing memory instability or system crashes, it may be worth getting some aftermarket products cheap. I haven't found a better deal for 32GB RAM new out of the box DDR4. You can get 4x8 sticks, but 16 gives you the option to upgrade to 64GB if your motherboard has 4 RAM slots. Overall very satisfied with the product.
