Bought for our kitten who was about 3 months old at the time. We had her neutered and needed an alternative to the "shame cone". At the time our kitten only weighed 5 pounds. Overall, however, this helped her a lot not to lick off the surgical adhesive; She still managed to get her small front paws through her very wide neck and slip out of it. There are multiple adjustment knobs to make the leg openings tighter or looser depending on what you need. While she wore it, I also liked the fact that she never had a problem using #1 or #2 kitty litter. Cat feces never got on the bottom edge of the neckline when in the litter. I'm giving it 4 stars because overall it worked, but the mount was a bit wobbly. Although for the price it was a good buy.
