Normal size balls are used!
Very pretty and uses regular size balloons! My 5 year old grandson loves it, however the toy requires the presence of an adult as it may tip over if not assembled unaided. I bought a container of regular sized balls which are sold separately just to have on hand. My grandson thought he could put all 100 marbles in at once and while this doesn't break the marble run it does block the escapes and the marbles stop. However, if the bases were wider, the toy would not fall off. The instructions show several ideas for different runs. Funny toy!
