I did a little research beforehand to find a foam bean bag chair that would fit our family. The end goal was to find something similar but less expensive than the LoveSac chair. I love the neutral color of the camel cover and the 4 inch option is perfect for a single adult or child to be comfortable without overwhelming the space. we didn't want to, but because it was simply impossible at the time. As a surprise gift on Christmas morning, we unwrapped it the night before, inflated the foam and placed it under the tree, knowing it was against the instructions to let it stretch out for days without sitting on it. In a perfect world, I would have shaken up the foam a few days in advance according to the instructions, but I can't hide something this size anywhere for that long, and during the pandemic I haven't been able to store it anywhere else while the foam was expanding. I'm really interested in how that plays out in the long run. When inverted, the bag puffs up and expands to full size. As soon as someone sits in it, it flattens into a pancake and doesn't wear. The chunky foam inside always feels "chunky" too. Once someone gets up from a chair, it won't expand until you roll it up and fluff it up, otherwise it gets a little stiff and keeps its flat shape. Overall I'm disappointed with the lack of support and plush softness but our child clearly loves sitting in it and doesn't complain so it's a win in that regard.
