Dorman 626 207 Heater Hose Review

Fits perfectly and works well a month later. I used very small needle nose pliers to remove the clamps from the tubing. Replace the hose assembly when replacing the heater core as they are known to rust and rust can clog the core and radiator causing overheating.

Used to replace heater hoses on a 2003 Ford Taurus. Received it and it went straight into an old device that had been hacked by the previous owner. The fittings, fittings and hoses looked OE quality and should have lasted the lifetime of the car.

After seeing the prices my local parts dealers wanted for the hose assembly I tried checking here at Revain. I'm very glad I did this. Most parts stores are almost double the price, and that's assuming they can get an assembly at all. Excellent build, everything went very well. Nothing had to be forced or coerced.

just make sure you pressure test this build before proceeding with the install like I did. There was a pinhole in one of the metal segments of the block. The paint job showed that it was found, welded and polished at the factory. But they didn't fill the whole hole and it cost me $25 antifreeze and all that time to pull it out and put another one in. So far so good with the new one, let's see how long it lasts.

The hose will fit a 2003 Taurus SES without too much fuss. Removing the old clamps was a nightmare since Ford placed the power steering directly under the heater core clamps. You'll need angled pliers or a special clamping tool to remove them without swearing like a sailor. In addition, there is a hidden 10mm nut on the passenger-side bulkhead, which is also often put on blindly.
