I found a recommendation for this shoe on a website stating that it is most comfortable for people with wide feet. I tried a few different pairs of shoes from different brands but these were the most comfortable. Addendum: after about 6 laps, the rear tread is already half worn. These would be great shoes with longer tread life, but if I had to buy another pair in less than a year due to tread wear, I'd be willing to pay 2-3x more for other shoes I've recently seen. longer.
