300 dollars? BUY NOW!

When I saw the Black Friday prices for elac Debian B 6.2 I put them in my shopping cart. I later stumbled upon these Kef Q150s at holiday prices. This led me to spend days reading reviews, speculating and watching numerous YouTube videos to determine if paying twice as much would do me any good. I really didn't want to spend $300 and was disappointed to find that I was pretty sure the b6.2 speakers wouldn't stay at $150 on Black Friday. When the q150s arrived and I plugged them in, I knew right away that I had made the right decision. They sound @#$_&-+ amazing for $300! As noted in many KEF experiences and reviews, there is a break-in period where sounds are distorted at various levels. However, they returned after playing several hours a day for two to three days. I listen to them with a HIBY DAP, a top DAC with a Mac running Audirvana and a modded pl120 with Ortofon Red. The Marantz 1150 is integrated with the SoundCraftsman Pro Equalizer. I listen to flac 16/24/32 and DSD 64/128/256 files. The root tone is somewhat user dependent. The speakers are on the back, the strength and distance from the wall on the back is the deciding factor for the low-end sound. The mids and highs are excellent. I have no right to judge other speakers in this price range. But I'm frugal and smart. I was fully prepared to hand them back if at any moment I felt underwhelmed. I'm excited. These are excellent speakers IF YOUR PRICE RANGE IS $300 AND THEY ARE ON SALE ------ BUY THEM NOW ------
