I was delighted to give these 925 sterling silver cupcake shaped stud earrings with colorful pink enamel to my teenage niece for her birthday. Earrings came in a beautiful gift box, which made the gift attractive and fun. The earrings themselves were cute, with a playful design that any girl would love. On closer inspection, however, I found that the quality of the earrings is unsatisfactory. Although strong enough to be worn a few times, the enamel material flaked off after a few uses. My niece's ears weren't hurt, but I think the earrings weren't suitable for long-term wear due to their poor quality. In general these earrings are fine for occasional wear but I would not recommend them for frequent wear for girls with sensitive ears. Overall I would give these earrings 3 out of 5 stars.
