Review on TWAYRDIO TW-771D SMA Female CS Tactical Antenna - 11.8in, 144/430Mhz, Fiberglass, Gooseneck - for Baofeng UV-5R Two-Way Radio Walkie Talkie by Aaron Franklin

I have compared this antenna to several other antennas from a few different radios. This is a very solid performer. It offered excellent reception on all the antennas I compared it to. In fact, it's so much better that after testing it, I found that one of my antennas had just failed, so I threw it away. I am very happy with this antenna. just one thing Why is it bendable? This adds some weight to the antenna, which I don't think outweighs the overall benefit. I mean I should have given this book five stars. This works very well. I'm just not sure what it's for.
