Does the human body absorb small amounts of copper from rings and bracelets to relieve pain? May be. According to the peer-reviewed journal PLOS ONE, there are NO measurable "therapeutic" benefits from wearing a copper bracelet with magnets. Allegedly, this ancient medicine simply fools people into believing that their joint pain is being relieved by some kind of "placebo effect." I suspect PLOS ONE's mind would change if only Big Pharma could figure out a way to take over the market with copper pills that they could prescribe and make good profits off of. The ancients had no motive to mislead people about the potential benefits of copper jewelry.
