No UL or other US testing certification

This product has no label or packaging that indicates underwriters laboratory (UL) or other US testing certification. I was looking forward to installing it in a new granite kitchen countertop for charging phones and laptops. My electrician said he would rather not install this product because of the lack of testing certification
