Installed this on a small kitchen island I built. My boyfriend and kids love it because there is always a port available to them to charge their phones. The only downside was having to purchase a 4 inch hole saw. They are pretty pricey but overall a good investment for future projects.

This product has no label or packaging that indicates underwriters laboratory (UL) or other US testing certification. I was looking forward to installing it in a new granite kitchen countertop for charging phones and laptops. My electrician said he would rather not install this product because of the lack of testing certification

Bought August 15,2018. Just today went to use it, charged my phone. Went to push it down like normal and it wouldnt re-tract down, kept popping back up. On investigation of taking it out of the countertop, the little plastic piece that holds it down into place, was broken.

This unit was suggested by my electrician. It is incredible! It hides away when not in use and when needed, just put a bit of pressure on it and out it comes without any issues.Buy it! It is this good!

The top is plastic and the color will wear off over time. It says the current rating is 10 amps. That would make it close to unusable. Current homes have 15 amp Bed/Office, and 20 amp GFCI kitchen. Maybe its a misprint from the manufacturer. I returned it.

The is the second one I ordered. After 2 years of use the first one burned out, I hope that this one lasts longer. That's my review.

This item is larger than I expected. The first one was defective and didn't pop up properly but we returned the item and ordered a new one. The new one is working great! I love it.

We love that this outlet can be hidden when not in use. Wife wishes that there were more plugs available, and also wishes that it wasn't so hard to open/close. I like that it was easy to install and we both agree that it looks great on the new island.

Product looks nice used it 4 times and will not stay down. Took it out turned upside down and a small cheap plastic piece fell out that supposedly hold it in. I would like to send it back and get another brand but I've already cut a hole in my countertop

We love this. It was built into our counter top and so far works excellent! What a great addition to our kitchen. And it’s sleek and elegant.

We had a butcher block counter/bar made and had them cut the measurement for our surge protector. It's available when we need it and tucks away nicely when we don't. Very clever.

I got my item scratched on top and my countertop its already cut in the size of the power outlet. Very dissapointed. That's my feedback.

After about six months the connection randomly failed interrupting our cooking in process. All indicator lights stayed on but there was no power to the outlets.

We bought for island in newly remodeled kitchen. Couldn't be more pleased. Opens and closes with little effort and stays out of the way when not needed.

We only used our automatic raising type surge protector maybe 20-25 times. After using, we turn the unit off and push it back down into the counter. But, now the on/off switch is broken and we have to replace the unit. At $4 - $5 per use, we find this item very expensive.
