I needed a heavy duty extension cord rated at least 1800 watts for a toaster oven. This worked like a charm! Thick and not flimsy like some other skinnier extension cords.Overall I like this extension cord, but I did have to dock 1 star because I have to force the cord ends together. As pictured, the cords did not meet cleanly in the middle like other extension cords that I have used. Other than that little problem, this cord does what it is supposed to do.

I was really surprised considering the price. I sort of expected Chinese junk but it continuously runs an indoor electric heater. No heat from this extension cord dectected from either end like some others that I've bought with the same heavy duty rating. Great bargain too. I'm good on this one and it's a keeper.

First of all let me say the extension cord I received is well constructed and functions as designed. My concern is a niche problem that affects consumers using this cord with some brands of tamper resistant shutter protected safety outlets. It turns out the round Grounding Prong on this cord is too short as compared to the two flat blades to properly release the safety shutters on some tamper resistant outlets. Good idea to have at least one of these for go to repairs. I have been using this extension cord to replace cords from duty appliances and other repairs. It works great. The wire is as described. The plastic covering is white to show grime and damage. The Plastic is flexible yet stiff enough to prevent kinking.

Length is accurate, build is of good quality.Not much else to say other than that it works as its supposed to. Thanks for attention.

This was for my oven which had to be connected to a different outlet which was a bit further away from where the oven was situated. I needed one that was 15 amps and so far it seems to be working well.

I'm using the cord for a 15A 1800W hotplate/stovetop. No heat develops in the cord at high for a 30 minute test. If it changes, which I don't expect, I'll update this review.

I was using a very old 12 foot extension cord to bridge a 2 foot gap between my outlet and a power strip next to my night table. This cord provides a safer and neater looking solution.

Quality constructed 4 foot grounded, heavy gauge, extension cords. I've used them with everything from heavy load draining, 15amp , in home electric heaters to equally rated high amperage (again 15 amps--no higher, though it is such heavily made wiring, that you might get away with 20 amp loads for short periods of time) current draw.I highly recommend and I'm a recently retired mechanical engineer by vocation; ergo.I know excellent quality when I see and use it!Hope this review was HELPFUL.!

I needed a short extension cord to plug in my air conditioner and this one works well. It's well made and is a good value. Could short out if exposed to moisture or water.

Using these outside for playground lights. Theyve stood up the the minor weather conditions they subjected to and haven't shown much if any wear. Definitely recommend for the price.

I bought this for a small air conditioner. There was no outlet close by so i needed an extension cord that i didn't have to worry about it over heating. This did the trick. The voltage of the AC is less the max voltage this extension cord can with stand. But im still very Satisfied with this product.

I needed a short extension cord for my Mr. Coffee machine and so this cord worked out perfectly. This is a heavy duty cord--not a cheap wire type cord that will fall apart and electrocute you. I'm sure this cord will last for many years and you don't even have to worry about it overheating because it's rated at 15 watts which is much more then my coffee machine requires.

I need a cord to plug in a laser printer and occasionally a space heater and the cord is working perfectly. Could be too heavy to pack in a suitcase for travel!

Both ends made a tight connection, outer covering on cord is made of a tough material, used to power a power strip at a work area. Using the 3 Ft. and 6 Ft. cords, both are working out just fine, These cords are a little stiff to bend but i wanted a cord that would hold up in a work setting.

Mostly, I just use this cord to run my crock pot, instant pot etc. I came home to find that the regular cord I was using was slightly melted. Soooo, I immediately ordered this heavy duty cord. It is the perfect length to use in the kitchen.
