First of all let me say the extension cord I received is well constructed and functions as designed. My concern is a niche problem that affects consumers using this cord with some brands of tamper resistant shutter protected safety outlets. It turns out the round Grounding Prong on this cord is too short as compared to the two flat blades to properly release the safety shutters on some tamper resistant outlets. The Grounding Prong on this cord needs to be about 3 or 4mm longer for the plug to properly release and open the shutters protecting the flat blade sockets on those types of safety outlets. A small design improvement will make this product more compatible to those outlets.
