Lightning Strike = Bidirectional (both ways) Mini Displayport = One way only This is a Mini Displayport. I know it's in the title, but it also talks about Thunderbolt technology, which this cable is only HALF compatible with. To be honest it says somewhere that it's not bi-directional, but you'll have to look for it.
