"Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Cable x 2, Benfei Mini DP to HDMI Cable 6ft (Thunderbolt Compatible) with MacBook Air/Pro, Surface Pro/Dock, Monitor "Projector" Take a look When you call something Thunderbolt-compatible, you are saying that it is able to take full advantage of Thunderbolt technology. It is not. It is NOT BIDIRECTIONAL which is the beauty of Thunderbolt! Everything else is just a mini display port. It is less. Well, if you want a connector that fits into your Thunderbolt hole and routes that OUTPUT to your TV, projector, etc., then this will work. BUT, if you want to SEND HDMI (e.g. from a camera) as a high octane INPUT to Thunderbolt, then no. This means it is a Mini DisplayPort and NOT Thunderbolt. IT'S NOT THE SAME! Lightning Strike = Bidirectional (both ways) Mini Displayport = One way only This is a Mini Displayport. I know it's in the title, but it also talks about Thunderbolt technology, which this cable is only HALF compatible with. To be honest it says somewhere that it's not bi-directional, but you'll have to look for it.
