I've been using this filter regularly for about a month and am happy so far. I've read a lot about RV water systems and recommendations for filtering water before it enters the facility. I found this filter to be an inexpensive measure to keep contaminants out of my freshwater system, so I added it to my Revain Subscribe and Keep every 4 months at a rate of one filter. It appears to be well built and I hooked it up to my drinking water hose (which has a built in pressure regulator), ran water through it until it was clean as instructed (to flush out any spilled charcoal) and then hooked it up to my system with a right angle made of brass. hose adapter. I don't normally drink tap water at home or in a van, but out of curiosity I did a very unscientific taste test before and after I connected this filter to my toy carrier. The quality of the water that goes through this filter varies a lot, and while I most likely won't be drinking it regularly, it smells and tastes noticeably better. I never give 5 stars right away. , but this one deserves a solid 4 based on my current experience with it. I will update this rating in a month or two and if it continues to perform at the current level until the next filter comes out I will upgrade it to 5 stars.
