The dashboard of my car is not flat at all. It has a lot of curved bumps, so finding a flat spot to put it on is difficult. I only stay on flat surfaces, not curved ones. That's problem number one. When I finally found a place to put it, it ended up on the dash behind the speedometer. If you look closely at the photos, you can see a silver metal band around the phone holder. This silvery strip of metal reflects directly on the windshield, creating two brilliant silver reflections on my windshield that are directly in my line of sight. It's very distracting. That's problem number two. The only other flat place to park it is well away from the passenger side, and I have to take my eyes off the road to see it. I will say that the mount holds my very large Samsung Galaxy S 10+ with a thick UB Pro case well. I will gift it to my daughter as I waited too long to get it back.
