Not a bad camera for tech-savvy newcomers. Despite the plain looks, the software isn't as intuitive as you might think. It's important to note that you can only preview footage when you're within range of the camera's Wi-Fi channel. (You can't check it from your office desktop when it's at home.) It also doesn't come with video editing software, but there are plenty of free versions (like Icecream Video Editor). Its only major downside is that it doesn't appear to have a "waterproof" case yet, and the instructions warn against leaving it in hot, cold, humid, or humid conditions. In other words, they don't recommend using it outdoors, where most users would like to take pictures. Maybe I should have taken the Brinno model.
